By which I mean of course ... I have no working overdrive at the moment.
So I had a rummage around and found a loose yellow wire with no spade on the end - and there's no way I can get my hand into the space I presume it need to go. Looks like I'll be lowering the gearbox a little to try and get to it.
How is it that there can be produced a several hundred page workshop manual detailing all kinds of meticulous detail about things as mundane as the inside of a bloody starter motor, and the type of waterproofing seals used on a car notorious for rusting, but there's no bloody wiring diagram for the J-type overdrive (unless I just can't find it). There isn't even a photo/diagram of the outside of the bloody thing!
Ho hum ...
